October 9, 2008 - So I officially survived walking what turned out to be about 40 miles of walking (39.3 official miles and a lot of ground to cover at the camp ground and to claim baggage at the end), with minimal soreness and a mild shin splint. Not too shabby for someone who didn't train at all for this thing. I've posted the only picture uploaded so far below. More pictures and the full story of the walk will follow hopefully this weekend!
